We will not know for a while, but I certainly think so!

Because it is Alpine White you cannot see the front end surface elements underneath the headlights which give the 1er it's more pronounced appearance.

Let me explain how it works. First, we don't work for BMW, so not sure how Scott operates and what is up there. All I can tell you from a media perspective is that very few selected media get press materials, sometimes, then there is an embargo which expires at a certain time. After that, it's all fair game.

Very simple. BMW doesn't send press kits to everyone and will probably never do, there will be too many leaks.

Yes, What I meant was after the embargo if you go to the BMW Group Press club you get the pictures , full press release and videos.

BMW does not make initial release available to everybody just media outlets , but some break embargoes. I was told someone broke the 1er embargo but the site is now pulled.
The Dutch sometime do. And the Russian media done it to the M5.

I am surprised that the M5 pictures from the China M event launch of the M3 Carbon Edition have not been released even though in some of the pictures you can see the M5 in the background.

Back to the 1er - xDrive will be available but not immediately. M-Sport too.

Scott...what type of motors will they be available from launch? N20 for sure obviously, but will there be 1.6T or 1.5T petrol engine?

As for the M5 Concept, yes the Russians did it first. They leaked three photos, which are exactly those that were sent to some "select" members here marked "for your eyes only"

Okay, so in simple. Everybody...don't get impatient. Don't get lured into the BMW teasing. Just be patient...wait for the first photos & info' to show up...and then post away!
