R8 Next Audi R8 Facelift Exposed in Unofficially Official Photo?

The Audi R8 is a mid-engine, 2-seater sports car, which uses Audi's trademark quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. It was introduced by the German car manufacturer Audi AG in 2006. Production ended in the first quarter of 2024. Production: June 2006 – March 2024 (45,949 Units), Model years: 2007–2024
Interestingly enough but if you look at the next generation 3er there is something similiar especially in how the headlight unit branches out towards the grille.

The study took place just about a year ago.

:D

I believe so, it's what you would be expected if they were wanting to bring the R8's design bang up to date and in line with the rest of the latest Audis.

It was said the next R8 would be evolutionary from the current one. Similar to Porsche with the 911 model. There's several cues from the e-tron in that p.s. which is something I can't argue against it looks great really.

The front is so in harmonic that I can't figure out whether the head lights are stock or sourced from another Audi.

That actually looks pretty sick and I agree, the from is so well put together that I can't tell if the headlights belong to another Audi or not.

I dont get it. Those headlights are the R8 headlights, so what do you mean by "to another Audi " ?

I don't get it, did the R8 really need it's wheels to be spaced further apart. In my opinion those flares have spoiled what is one of the most beautiful designs ever. :eusa_doh:

In general almost all aftermarket bodykits spoil the fine lines of the orginal design and this one is no different, if the rest of you like it then I must be getting old.

LOL !! I AM old and actually quite like the TC mods (save the rear wing as I usually don't care for rear wings other than on competition vehicles).

If they get rid of those stupid vents below the lights in the first pic, then we're in business.

R8 facelift or next generation? If next generation then both Audi and Lamborghini will retain NA V8 and V10 and I respect this very much. A shame BMW is so stubborn.

How about this?

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
