In the last issue of "L'autojournal" there is an ad for "l'autojournal 4X4" telling that they will show the official pictures of the new X5 on 9 August.
By then, which is the day after tomorrow, thre are still oppotunities for leaks .....

it worked on the previous generation X5 so I cant see why it shouldnt work now

The interior of the new X5 looks pretty good. Not as edgey and rugged as the current X5, but still very appealing. Looks like they've gone for a more smoother looking dashboard and console as well as keeping the horizontal-lines theme that all new BMW's seem to have.

The brushed aluminium look suits this interior very well too because it perfectly blends sportiness and refinement into one appealing look!


...Hmmm.. wonder if the laptop comes as standard ?

I love the new interior better than the current one. It's so much better than the interior of the 5er IMO. I wish they redesigned the exterior more though. It just looks too similar to the current one. Oh well, if it ain't broken, don't fix it

My guess is that the new gear shifter we've been seeing is the new step New Steptronic EniLab is talking about. It has the same layout as the current Steptronic as the one in the current X5

Can't wait to see this thing, loving it so far.
