M3/M4 New BMW M3 Chop!

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

Hmmmm, this looks great even with camo.;) Btw, what's with the hood? The tape on the hood looks like it's hiding some really big engine under it...

:t-cheers:

I sure it's a bulge to fit that big V8!

ohh snap its on now ppl.. its almost un camod.. love it:D..

Even though I think the E90 3 series sedan looks quite nice, I've never been too impressed with the new 3 series coupe.

With these latest shots of the upcoming M3 coupe, I must admit that I think its looks have "softened" compared to the more compact/aggressive looking E46 M3 coupe. Maybe this will change with larger and more aggressive looking rims....

Did you guys notice how massive those rear tires are??? That is so much rubber but I guess you need it with all that power!

The bulge that some of you have pointed on in the picture of the M3 that is camod, seems to be the same bulge that the current E46 M3 has. It is an aggressive touch that is added to the hood. It serves no function in relation to the capacity or space of the engine.

I must say I'm very surprised that the M3 doesn't have I-Drive as standard with sat nav! For a car of that price not to have it, it seems weird!

I know the E46 M3 didn't have sat nav as standard, but the E92 version's going up in price, right?

What's with the indicators in the headlights? Is that just reflection of the camera, or does it really exist out of a series of orange Led's

Hopefully manual will be available from start.

Stick is quite the popular option for M3's (always has been) so w/ out a doubt that opt will be available from jump as will SMG too. I'm wondering more about the dual clutch tranny? Looks to me like the proto caught in SB is a sixspeed, otherwise I'm very sure you would have been able to pin point the paddle shifts.

What do you think the MSRP is going to be?? I'm predicting a little over $55k+, since the M coupe and roadster both start at $49k.

Thanks for the link!:usa7uh:

Some nice close up pictures of the car, it looks very nice!

I especially like this picture:

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
