all lehmann had to do was take a closeup pic of the front grille and then from the size of the intercooler and the rest of the cars plumbing we would have been able to tell.

The car on the picture doesn't have any LED unlike the test mules which have had masking tape most likely covering up the LED lights.

2) It will drink a lot of petrol. Performance comes with a price.

3) It will be automatic, not DSG.

Other than that it will be a fantastic car!

we all know its getting 581hp but what about torque? my own guess is 800nm.

The latest news from RS6.com is that the RS6 will be presented in the Avant form first. The Avant RS6 will receive the face-lift treatment which includes indicater in the wing mirrors.

The saloon will come some months later, together with the A6 facelift..

Weird if you ask me. I'd rather see the saloon first!

You know, I wouldn't mind one bit if they released the RS6 in Avant form only. The RS2 was an Avant, and so were the first generation RS4 and RS6... (and in my eyes the Avants look better anyway).

I know that RS and avants go hand in hand. But if Audi really has intended to launch the Avant first and the Sedan 6 months or so later, it's going to suck.

Many customers who have lay down a deposit will be extremely disappointed and perhaps even feel betrayed by Audi

The vast of those who buy high performance cars buy sedans. I see a wave of RS6 cancellations on the way if Audi have intended to play their customers this way.

Well, imo it's a MUST for Audi to release a saloon aswell. Just look on the RS6 and RS4 B7 how well they got recieved by the media and the owners. Now that Audi are where they are, I think the more RS-models, the better!
