As I saw the "My poor Subaru" thread... I thought I got a post what happened to me the other day.

I was driving to change my summer tires to winter tyres, and about 100m from the workshop, a van pulls out in front of me, out of nowhere. There was no chance for me to stop...

That means certainly a new bumper, I am not sure if you will need a new fender or will you be able to have this one repaired, but at least you won't need a new hood.

There were more damage to the car then thought. The headlight was damaged badly from inside, and pushed some things in. It needs a new fender and side, but the hood just needs to be re-made. And yeah, the insurande will cover the most of it. But still..it sucks

Yeah I know how it feels, it sucks to see someone damaging your property like that, I am still very annoyed about my subaru.

Judging by the damage, the speed must have been rather slow, at least your front axle wasn't hit and that the internal damage was minor. A friend of mine had his C-Class rear-ended this past weekend. Externally there was just some scratches on the rear bumper and some broken plastic, but it turns out that the gas tank and exhaust needed repair as well as the whiplash protection module in the head rest.
