Curious if you were able to check out the interior of the FL CT6.
More of the same, frankly. Just an infotainment update. It's funny the new Caddies are being marketed as the best thing since sliced bread. They haven't listened to criticisms regarding interior build at all.
With the GLC, X3/4, NX (sorta), and Q5 all fresh releases, I think the XT4 have a pretty hard time penetrating the market.
It never ceases to amaze me just how well the BMW M6 Gran Coupe has seemingly withstood the sands of time. Solely in terms of the sheer beauty of its' exterior, I find it the most fascinating car in its' segment-trumping the Mercedes-AMG GT 4 door liftback as well as Porsches' Panamera II Turbo (S eHybrid) and quite likely Audis' upcoming gen II RS7. Still very much like its' interior as well, despite some of the "tech deficits".
It will be an extremely difficult act for the upcoming 8 series/ M8 GC to follow. But very recent photographs of increasingly unveiled 8 series/M8 2 door coupes/convertibles leave me rather optimistic.
I may be biased, but I appreciate the F06 6er design more than the 8 series. It doesn't try to be overly swoopy, yet it looks so athletic and graceful. The 6 looked unique in the lineup, whereas the 8 is very current design language influenced.
Good that you took a liking to the 6-Series. It wears individual colours very well. Unlike most four door coupes it doesn't have a dopey rear.
What's your opinion on the iPace?
The I-pace looks good in person. Haven't seen the seen the Mission-E yet, but so far this is the most decent looking non-Model S electric car that will actually make it to production (Lucid motors, Faraday future *cough).
Interior felt better than the F-Pace, I-pace, and basically eveything Jag. They really need to put the current Xj out to pasture.
