My New 2016 C450 AMG

Interesting, so what happens when the customer refuse to buy the car once it has been produced?
The customer signed a contract. If he refuses to buy/pay/take the car, the dealer can insist on the contract and go to court or the dealer is entitled to the penalty (usualy a percentage of the price of the car) that's written in almost every contract.

@Betty Swollocks cant wait for your delivery of the car! I hope you give us a detailed comparison with the 135i. Let's hope the dealer doesn't screw you and you loose your deposit deposit ;)

But seriously, the evidence sort of outweighs itself here. An F80, C63s and a C450 all cancelled within months of each other...doesn't sound credible at all.

And let's not forget, the new arrival would be his THIRD car, as he also leases a C 300 4MATIC and a BMW 320i xDrive.

Alright guys, I think everyone have had their say for now.

I haven't!
Thread backfire. Because it is based on blatant lies.
I love it, Mini Cooper's Ferrari love affair pales in comparison with all the claims made by Hot Ice.

And all that being a BMW sales rep. LOL!!!!

I've never, ever made a deposit on a normal, non-exotic car (like a Ford GT40 or a La Ferrari). Is that normal, making deposits on normal, everyday cars like a C-klasse or a Mustang?

The car was being shipped in from Devon, PA. They required something to bring it in.

Nothing against you @-=Hot|Ice=- but I agree with @Betty Swollocks on this one. Looking at your luck with new car threads, it might not be a bad idea to create a thread once you've actually taken delivery of the car.

Perhaps for your next delivery, you can do it @martinbo style with your name inked on a crisp white sheet of paper tucked beneath the wiper.

Honestly, I thought this was on locked and done. I had receipt and the agreement in hand. The picture I posted earlier was when the car was getting cleaned up. They gave me the bad news right after I came up from inspecting the car to make sure everything was okay.

What's all this about? I must have missed this.

This comes from the days of the original germancarforum.com, the one run by Brian, that turned into worldcarfans.com and then became motor1.com

There's a pic of martinbo and his then Forester, decorated with a piece of paper that wrote martinbo GCF. And then there was the pic of Yannis's A4 with a can of Amstel on the dashboard.

That was a time when people understood the anonymity of internet forums and that maintaining an internet identity with whatever credibility an internet identity can hold, meant that people questioned what you wrote and you could back your shit up.

:) ;)

Adding gasoline to the fire: I'm originally from the DMV area and know almost every dealership there. Which dealer and which sales consultant did this mess happen with? Would be interesting to know.

You can PM me too.

I believe he already said EuroMotorcars of Devon which is in PA.
