My New 2016 C450 AMG

2017 MY cars are being called C43, yes. :)
I see, anyway congrats on a sweet car. I have only seen a few C class in Palladium Silver, it is a interesting choice. The W205 looks great in any color so you can't go wrong. Please post some photos when you get the car.

Thank you everyone!!! I appreciate it! Yes, the C450 AMG will have the 7G-Tronic but the AMG C43 will have the 9G-Tronic. Between having 9 gears or saving a couple thousand dollars, I chose the latter.
To be honest I can't feel the difference between 7G and 9G, and for a car with this much torque, 9G is not really needed.

Would love to get everyone's take on Palladium Silver.
Palladium suits the car very well. If I were in the market for a C-klasse I would have a hard time deciding between obsidian black or palladium (or is it selenite grey in the meantime for the W205 as well).

Well, I was suppose to get the keys today. The deal fell through. I was told that I needed to put down $6,500 more dollars which was NOT the agreement. Back on the hunt.

Speaking of the color I spotted a brand new C63 with a silver color.. stealth and good looking.

Didn't you have a written contract or price mentioned on paper? Can hardly imagine a deal like this is made only vocally.

Surely that is not legal is it?

I don't think it is. They even took a $1,000 deposit.

We had a written agreement. They even took a $1,000 dollar deposit, I signed the receipt and all. The manager kept telling me they just can't do the deal and said 'now I have a car on my lot that I don't want.'

They wouldn't do the deal.

Tell them that is their problem, and they can get effed, go over to MBWorld and start the name and shame. Absolute disgusting behavior from them.

No Ways Can A deal which is confirmed be cancelled not acceptable and you paid a deposit you need to take legal action..
Absolutely, what exactly was the dealer's justification? Btw fortuner, did you accidentally click the "disagree" on my previous post, just curious.

They justified it by saying they "accidentally forgot to put $6,500 in the deal" and they were going to lose $4000 on the car. Manager didn't want to do the deal anymore.

How do you forget $6,500 in a deal? You can't just misplace it.

A written and signed contract is what it is and isn't void just because someone forgot something.

If it's on contract then you can just ask for your car or pursue legal action. I'm sure you'll be properly rewarded.

:)

If they lost $4000 at least they will get the car sold and have a satisfied customer! If they were clever they can adjust this loss on the price of another sale. Now they have done bad marketing for their dealership as you will obviously be unhappy and give them a bad name. Maybe they could have done this to other potential buyers and lost many sales. They the ones that are losing out also. You should put this story in the newspaper in your area where the dealership is and also pursue legal action on the contract signed. The manager obviously is only looking at profit on one car and is not good at sales or customer service for future buyers. You could have potentially brought them more buyers if his sales skills and customer service were good.

I hope you can find a good deal at another dealer on an equivalent car (maybe you could get a C43) and sue the living $hit out of that dealership for their crappy customer service and your inconvenience caused.

@-=Hot|Ice=- I don't wish to be rude but have you at some point had a deposit down on every car ever made? It's all you ever post, yet you never seem to take delivery. And you have an awful lot of cars in your "garage". They're not your cars I seem to remember. They belong to members of your family, yeah?

And low and behold, you start another thread about your new car, and what happens, something goes wrong before you take delivery. I'll be honest, this all sounds like complete BS to me.

Just done a search and these are your posts in the last 12-18 months.

I've decided to cancel my C63 S Coupe and invest the money that I saved. I'm young, I can enjoy a $100,000 car later in life.

I've been looking at the W205 C63, but right now dealers are giving $15,000 off GT-R's in my area. Does anyone have any experience with GT-R's as a Daily Driver?

If all goes according to plan, I'll have it by the end of January!

Yes, I'm looking at new GT-R's. :) I've been waiting on the W205 C63, but I won't have word until March, and they're not willing to go below MSRP. Paying MSRP is not something I'm going to do for a depreciating asset.

Hey everyone! I know I don't come here very often, but when I do, I have exciting news to share!

I have cancelled and gotten the deposit on my F80 LCI back, and I quickly taken it and placed that deposit on a Ford GT350 with Technology Package.

Placed a deposit on a build slot today. Should compliment the GT350 very well. :) I can't say no to a TT V6 pumping out 510 HP and with a 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds.

I'm currently driving a 2014 C300 4Matic and it's black.

I might, but it's never going to see the track, so I don't think I can justify the extra 10,000 difference. I found an R and a GT350 at MSRP. I placed a $5,000 deposit for a Alfa Romeo about 30 minutes ago, so we'll see. Call dealers that are more towards the south. They are more likely to give you an MSRP deal.

So, decision made:

2016 Ford Mustang GT350
Deep Impact Blue
Black Stripes(I hate it and I think it ruins the flow of the car, but it looks like an ordinary mustang without them)
Technology Package

The problem? Only the lord knows when it'll go into production.

My sister just picked up a 2016 428i xDrive and it much sportier than my 320i xDrive.

I'm thinking about adding a 2017 or 2018 Raptor to the stable. Maybe even use it as a DD. Thoughts?

I had a Giulia deposit down. Now that it has failed safety tests and is delayed, I don't think I'll be moving forward with it. The C has been handed off to mom well, because she wanted it and the 3er's lease is coming to an end. I work for BMW, so it would make sense to get a BMW, but nothing in the lineup really excites me. I'll probably wait and see what the 4er LCI brings. After driving the 3er for three years, I'm honestly disappointed.

In response to whether you had a Shelby GT350R...

I had thought I had one locked down too. :(

Apparently you own an M3...

Nobody decided to slap me silly to wake me up and tell me the AMG C63 Coupe looked fan bleeding tactic and it would be a perfect replacement for my M3? FOR SHAME! I am disappointed!

So in the last 12-18 months, you claim to have either owned or have a deposit on a:

Mercedes-Benz C 300 4MATIC
Mercedes-Benz C 63 S Coupe
Mercedes-Benz C 450 AMG
BMW 320i xDrive
BMW 328i Convertible
BMW M3 (F80)
BMW M3 (E92)
Nissan GT-R
Ford GT350
Shelby GT350R
Alfa Romeo Giulia QV
2017 Raptor

Betty, your post is very rude. A picture of the car is attached to put any doubts you have to bed. Please don't stick your nose in my business. If you think it is BS, do not read my threads. I'll put you on my ignore list, and you should do the same. Who are you to question my integrity? I don't have to explain myself to you because it's my money, and I will do whatever I want with it. I'll put deposits down on any car I want, as many times as I want. Good day. I did own an e92 M3. The F80 never happened because I didn't like the way it drove and the GT350 due to the absurd dealer mark-up. Now, stop sticking your nose where it doesn't belong and don't talk when you don't know what you're talking about.

By the way,

The Ford 350 and the GT350 are the same exact car.
