I hope all these DC movies fail. James Gunn is killing them. Peacemaker is the only good thing they’ve got going for them at the moment.
Pretty much everything in the DCU's been flogged to death, rehashed too many times, or was just no good in the first place.
The MCU kicked off in 2008, 15 years ago, since then there's been 31 films (so far), with not much more than a tiny bit of recasting, and one underlying continuity.
People having a favorite Batman, or Superman, is a bit like having a favourite Bond, they all have strengths and weaknesses, and the feel of the films changed along the way... except with the DC they just rehashed the same couple of films over and over - as if Eon productions just kept making Dr No, From Russia with love and Goldfinger over and over and over and over with new people playing Bond... it's not Gunn that's going to kill the DCU, it's the fact they just keep trying to reanimate the same dead corpse(s)

I forgot about Doom Patrol, first season really good, season 2 just weird, season 3 was decent.

I would love to see M. Keaton in the role again, the melancholy of remembering the premiere of the first one as if it were today, great marketing move, they put stickers with the black bat logo on yellow on all the cars in my city, nobody wanted to take it off......
