Excited. As it seems to be a proper sequel and continuation judging by the iconography being shown in this short clip eclipsing everything from the unfunny reboot. And no to criticise the reboot is not being misogynistic.
It just wasn’t funny, it was badly written and directed. and contributed absolutely nothing. Even though it had cameos from the original cast you could tell they were strained to be reduced to participating in “queef” jokes.

For what it was I didn't think it was that bad.

One thing that isn't a carry over from the original films, is being set around kids as the central characters. Sure, it'll help with the younger demographic in the audience, but to me part of 'Ghostbusters' continual appeal, is that it's based around four average, believable guys. It worked when I was 6, and it still works now... once the iconography novelty has worn off in 'Afterlife', I'm not sure I'll give a crap about the younger characters, and the adult characters are clearly there just for exposition or comedy. I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect this franchise would have been better off staying dead!

Let's see if it even comes out this year!

And bullets still travelling underwater in movies, read up on physics guys.

That's the thing with Astons, they may not always be the quickest car, but you can always shoot at anything faster.

First Matrix is I n my all time top 3.

I am very excited to say the least. Hopefully the girls don't f#ck it up (like they partly did with 2 and 3 already)!!

the special effects look off, as if Joel Schumacher got hold of the Matrix.
The matrix looks over-saturated, but I think...

that it's so over-saturated because it's constructed the matrix keep people in order to keep them happy and blissful.

and

Considering in the trailer it seems like Mr. Anderson is financially well-off and possibly an important figure within the construct of the matrix (fancy bathroom in a fancy apartment in San Francisco), it was done to keep him confined while minimize the instances he questions the nature of his existence. Kind of how in the first movie, Joey Pants wanted to be someone rich and important once he was put back in the matrix. If one is rich and pre-occupied and content with his life, how often are they going to question whether it's real or a simulation?

Despite all that trappings of that kind of life, he's still questioning his existence since he has faint memories of being out of the matrix. Perhaps the therapists are their to keep him in check?

That's what came to my mind after viewing the trailer a couple times. I could be wrong, but something about that idea intrigues me.

I remember the 1st one real well, but outside the French gate-keeper dude and the highway chase scene, I don't remember much from the 2nd or 3rd.

It feels like a mix of Boogie Nights and Magnolia...and that's not a bad thing at all.
