I hope the next ML will be a 7 seater..If so i am pretty much garanteed a buyer i am really really liking the interior it looks almost a few levels ahead off the current Ml.

I truly wonder if this will be a 7 seater, and if it is, at what cost? I mean, the that's why the GL exists right? If this thing is a 7 seater, then the rear seats will severely cut into the luggage space in the rear, and the seats themselves will be either for midgets (little people?) and kids.

Yeah i get what you saying but it looks like the rear is longer then the current one..well we have to wait and see...

MB most definately had a 2wd ML. No doubt about it. We sold em here in the US.

It looks pretty good though I don´t think this is the real steering wheel (the same way as the AB A8´s interior pics leaked showed another steering wheel.

That's not a render, but the real thing. I'm sure. Just like the A8 interior and 7er interior were real. Maybe a different steering wheel like you say, but for the rest: this is it.
It looks great. I was extremely worried after the E and E-coupé and probably the new CLS as well, but other than those cars, it looks like everything will be ok.

No way the ML will be a 7-seater. That would make no sense. It would take away GL sales. The GL is just a stretched ML, so why would they offer two seven seaters?

The interior is the real deal for sure, but the exterior? It has a different look than the A8 and E-Class pics, it´s like a draw, it´s not even signed by huck. Although it looks very good.

I'm on your side of the argument. But if they do make it a 7 seater, it will be a dumbass idea. Because it will take away sales from a proper 7 seater, the GL, and when people who bought the ML try to use the third row, there will be a LOT of bitching about lack of space.

I agree that the GL is the 7 seater suv from BENZ but maybe this time they may make the GL more up class and more expensive so maybe u will get a 5 or 7 seat ml..maybe..

Bohoo for most of you. It's borrowing heavily from the E design. It's got an E-class rear wheel arch and the rear light treatment looks to be similar.

The proportions are looking better with every new set of pictures. More squat and less 'in the air' then the current ML.

That would be good. I think this cgi has most of the elements right.

Wish they'd drop that c-pillar, give it a proper visible D-pillar.

That doesn't look too bad, and it fits in with all the lines and what not Mercedes is doing now. Still kinda messy, but not as much as with the E Sedan. The ML needs to have a more expressive interior and higher build quality inside and out. Combine that with the new engines and Mercedes could finally get sales back to where the first generation was.

I like everything so far on this new Benz, it will be the first Benz I like all the way for quite some time. I hope the CLS will turn out to be pretty too!

As for the 7 seat option...I think it's bound to happen, even though the GL already has that. The X5 has an option for two more seats in the trunk, and Mercedes will not let it happen that the next ML doesn't have this feature as well.. GL will be for 7 regular people, ML for 5 adults and two kids, like X5.
