Those muthasuckin camel-arse breath poll-spamming BMW fanboys spoiling the car interwebs for the rest of us. Grrr, Ssangyong FTW!

The CLS and A7 are clearly distinctive, stand-alone products. Thay offer a bit more DASH and excitement compared to their sedan counterparts. This is clearly not the case with the 6er GC.

FIRE! MURDER! The CLS Shooting Brake has a CLS front... WTF is up with that??!?!?!?!

Exactly like the CLS all around, other than the obvious differences like the new fugly roofline and fancy concept bumpers.
Can't wait to see how some specific MB fans will spin this when the CLS wagon launches in a bit.

Duhh, you committed the ultimate sin, you criticized a BMW.... or.... gasp.... and I need to preemptively protect myself before I even say this.... but you said you like another car more than one. Quick, hide! Hide your wife and kids!

On this occasion I did quite the opposite and in fact I cast my vote for the 6GC not against it, klier just dislikes that I don't bow to the almighty God that is BMW, I love most brands and my diversity of brands over all my years of driving is probably among the exception on here or just about any forum. In fact the one brand I haven't owned yet is a Merc which still amazes me. Maybe I'll get one when I think I'm old enough to not feel out of place driving one. (j/k)

[...] klier just dislikes that I don't bow to the almighty God that is BMW [...]

Ack, you got me there. No seriously you did.
Maybe one day, perhaps after you get that new 328i, you'll understand :) But I doubt it, 'cause you apparently bought a Jaguar diesel after the mighty E92 M3. God only knows why ;)

Seriously though, the only thing I disliked was you claiming false facts. And I still do.

[...] the 6GC looks JUST like a sedan [...]

Funny, because people either say that, or people say it's simply a 6er coupe with two added doors.....which is the complete opposite of a sedan.

This only shows, opinions on design are so damn fun to read :D

You're really good at that. :usa7uh:

You see there is your problem, you can't understand why anyone would chose to replace their M3 with a diesel Jag.... why not?

I enjoyed the M3 right up to the point when it's gearbox issue almost got me killed, it was a great car and is probably now a great gearbox but when I had it the latter was very far from perfect. So that explains the reason it went, now to the diesel Jag, I still rate it even with the introduction of the latest A6, 5er and E-class as one of the best mid sized saloons around, it's ride quality vs handling balance is sublime and it looks stunning, the reason for the diesel and not petrol was simply residuals, the diesel retains far more of its value and was plenty quick enough. As for the 328i, well again residuals play a major part of my thought process because it's got better mpg than the 335i, it's £5/6k cheaper to begin with and it's got the same level of kit.... in other words it's a win win situation. Whether it actually comes off is debateable because after she saw the Evoque she REALLY likes the idea of that too, heaven knows why we would need two SUVs is anyone's guess but if it's what she wants then I go with the flow.

Seriously though, the only thing I disliked was you claiming false facts. And I still do.

The last time it was my shit opinions that got you upset, make your mind up.

Sure, because the CLS Shooting Break is clearly based off the CLS which makes it so sleek and beautiful. (Unlike that blob called the 5erGT)
I have to agree with some others who said BMW just got lazy with the 6er Gc design. It really doesn`t stand out in any area at all and will age rather quickly imo.

Seems BMW is using the old Merc "understated elegance" themes for their newer models. That design scheme is already outdated.

(The modern theme, like the Rolls Royce designs for example, have gotton bolder and louder.)

You really have to be a BMW fan to like this car because their really is no other reason imo.

^ Thanks for shouting the keywords to ram home your point, ahem - I mean opinion. Next time of course, copy and paste your paragraphs into Word and run a spellcheck so as to avoid drawing attention to mis-spelt words. This will go a long way to lending more GRAVITAS to your contributions.

Sorry for that, post corrected
I only had like 10- 13 seconds to post and shoot out the door!!!.. The new SL pics really made me late for lunch and was the main reason!
it won`t happen again!

And 6GC is clearly not based on 6 coupe?

Is it just hypocrisy? double standards or just plain ass ******* retarded?

I think it abvious some of us wanted a BMW 4 door coupe separated from the rest of the line up. And wouldn´t mind if then a shooting brake is released based on that stand alone 4 dr coupe. Quite an obvious difference.

And BTW, CLS Concept front looked much better.

Big lOl, this is one of it`s main failures. (Whay slap two more doors on an existing model) nothing unique here.

Thay should have brought back the 850.

Bingo! :usa7uh:

And slapping on lift gate on CSL is not a failure, but very unique?

I don't even know why I even try ...

So according to you, for some arbitrary reason the 4 door coupe should be separated from the rest of the line up, but it is okay if a shooting brake is not? That is not an obvious difference, but just an arbitrary one. One you might feel strongly about, but still an arbitrary one.

You don`t have to use left brain logic to know where we are coming from. It`s quit simple.
Your smart (very smart) enough to know that.

These fanboy banters are getting old. Judging by the who-voted-for-what-car list, it's obvious that you could have never shown many people the pictures of the cars in question, and they'd simply vote for the brand that they wave the flag of anyway. It looks like the A7, who's of course in "last", has the most "isle crossers" in fact.

The CLS without a doubt. The A7 has grown on me, but still lacks a wow factor. The 6 series 4-door is just not special to me. I wish BMW had at least tried to make the design different from the 6 other than the extra doors.

Or a MB fan not to like the car. I seriously dont get the love some of you guys have for the CLS. Almost every new Benz looks like zillion times better than the bug looking CLS. I can fully understand if someone like 6-series or A7. The design is cleaner and more elegant and timeless which you cant say about CLS. Both 6-series and A7 totally trashes the CLS in terms of look.

^Funny thing is these types of comments have been going on as long as this forum has existed. Opinion is just that an opinion. Personally I think the CLS look better than any car BMW currently builds, but yet you think it's crap.

It's just life.
