Hot! Mercedes-Benz, What's Next?

Latest news, trending discussions, reviews, and major updates
The difference in measurements is practically imperceptible; what really sets them apart is the design, which is noticeably geared towards different segments in each case.

EQE is made for a non existing segment, GLC EV for a worldwide success. Or at least a success where EV is viable.

GLC EV will do EQE lifetime sales within a year. GLC is already sold out basically, in the U.S too where they halted EQE sales.

I don't know if it's just me, but it looks better applied here than on the SUV.

EQE SUV is back on sale with a big price drop and it’s been renamed the EQE 320. I would guess this model will be dropped this fall.

It is already beginning to appear that M-B has really gotten its act together on this car.

Nice to see.

I am ok they used the same interior in the C class as the GLC as it looks really good. I would go far as saying this is the best interior of any new Mercedes at the moment.
Dead horse, but the VLE GLS GLE would have been so much better with this screen.

It still makes me annoyed to see a brand new high priced luxury van like the VLE using a super screen coming off a cheaper CLA and the same with the GLE and GLS. Mercedes just playing cheap skate with these high priced models when it wouldn't have cost them alot to add in the GLC hyperscreen.

Yeah I don’t get it. Especially on the VLE it’s a new architecture vehicle.

They weren't expecting the W223 to have as long a life as it ended up having, and had to pivot their entire strategy. Unfortunately, you can't just magic parts and designs and factory tooling out of thin air at the drop of a hat.

They would have been industry benchmarks across the range in terms of screen size and quality. They need anything they can muster to remain desirable against what are going to seem like 'All New' BMW products.

I myself am a massive fan of MB OS (best in the business IMO), and would be happy with it accommodated on a much smaller display that doesn't span the dash. Who knows what we will see in terms of interior architecture come 2028/29.

Yep. The VLE with this screen dazzling passengers all the way back would have been nice. Oh well. I guess the overhead one will have to do.
