Wasn’t this “unibrow” look exclusive to entry models like CLA, GLB etc. ? At least that’s what I was thinking.

Do we have to survive several years until Gordens revenge will find an end ?
Probably, lol. Now it resembles a stretched CLA with a melting face. Though I must say, it kinda looks better than the pre-facelift. But then again, the bar was pretty low anyways.

It both has more structure and less structure at the same time.

Someone in Mercedes' product planning team needs to get fired. Cause how are they EQing the ICE cars with the grilles, and simultaneously de-EQing the actual EQ cars....

What is happening?

Totally baffling, lots of confusion and patches here and there.

Mercedes is truly in a crisis. They need to just drop the EQ cars or the EQ language & Go with the Vision Iconic Design language ASAP.

They need to take the loss.

I have no idea wtf is going on at Mercedes:

- They presented a new EQ lineup years ago with black plastic connecting the headlights to the “grill”.

- Years later - NOW - they adapt their whole ICE range to this totally unnecessary and ugly trend with the FL S, GLE, GLS.

- then a few weeks later present the only car that badly needed the connected design - WITHOUT IT!!!

wth…. its like different design teams make decisions over each model, with a lightyear communication gap.

Phewww … 😮‍💨

i’m even convinced there is an inside man/agent that is destined to ruin Mercedes as a whole at this point, Because there is no way🤣

The way they are going so far this year I would be very much surprised if they break even or make a loss at the end of this year. Their sales numbers are a disaster in China in 1st quarter 2026 they sold only 111,600 units which is nearly half they sold in 2021 (208,100 units). I don't think the EQS MOPF will sell that well, it just doesn't look good enough and the sooner they lay the car to rest, the less they will lose. If the C-class and E-class EQ models look great and will sell well, they don't need to sell the EQS.
