I wonder if this will be a larger van or a just a transformed, longer VLE? Either way I'm expecting top notch power and a breathtaking interior that is a good deal removed from the most luxurious VLE. It would just be killer if they put a V8 in this on the ICE side. Any idea when we see it?

The V8 would be perfect especially, as it’ll be very heavy.

Good way to meet the demand for fake vclass Maybach. Some one in my neighbourhood owns one as a taxi. He bought a used 20,000 miles vclass. Drove it to turkey and had the entire interior and exterior done up Maybach style for £30,000. I am talking fully re trimmed interior with alcantara headlining, new dashboard, infotainment, starlight ceiling and headliner.

I had an up close look and even got to sit inside. It was very convincing.

I have seen a number of these fake Maybach V-classes in South Africa, and they were selling them at stupid prices way above the standard V-class models. The changes to the interior especially those luxurious back seats looks very upper class.

There is demand for them. For example. In the Middle East, it’s common to have big families or travel with extended family members. You can’t do that in an sclass. Corporates, celebrities or VIPs with entourage use a vclass as a mobile office. Travelling 6-9 people in the same car allows you to have meetings whilst on the road, and prevents one party from being late, held up or lost in another car.
