IMHO, BMW appears to be the "best prepared" of the "Big Three" German manufacturers in this particular context. The new ix3 looks splendid. I expect the same from the NA0 i3 sedan and the upcoming ix5. And remain confident that BMW will carry these themes on future products well into the late 2020s into the early 2030s.
As for Audi: I can only hope for the incoming, new Massimo Fraschella supervised "Radical Next" generation of vehicles. The Concept C is quite a remarkable piece of designcraft. Hopefully, Audi will infuse a great deal of its precise, razor sharp, fine minimalistically surfaced, wheels flush and well proportioned design into all of its future vehicles. What Audi now offers are frequently warmed-up, uninspiring leftovers. That MUST change. Quickly.
M-B ? IMHO, all that can be said is "Quo vadis". No idea what the eye appeal, or lack of it, of the vehicles presented as of the upcoming E-Class EQ will be. Technology offered is stellar. But design ? More recently, I oddly like the GLB EQ most of all presentations. CLA and GLC EQ are leaving me lukewarm at the very best. No lofty expectations regarding the C-Class EQ. The soon to be presented, technologically amazing AMG.EA 4 door GT ? In terms of design, a great many devils could lie in the details. Very apprehensive of that, I'm afraid. M-B has an unfortunate propensity for "tacking stuff" on their vehicles more recently.
