Hot! Mercedes-Benz, What's Next?

My opinion is literally just; make Manufaktur open to literally every car in the range. Even the CLA and the GLB. Just charge an arm and a f#cking leg for it, if they want it. Maybe they'll sell nothing for the lower end cars, but the fact that they give you the option, says something about the Brand.

And who knows, maybe someone would want a GLB for practical reasons, but wants to spend an extra $15000 on kitting out with the highest end Nappa leather and wood trim, because f#ck it why not?

Exactly, because If you live in the city you don’t need a S Class, but may be you still want the interior with Nappa leather.

They are, to put it mildly, dumb asses.

For example. The AMG GT can now be had with various 'Manufactur' paint options. However this is limited to the 63 and 55 models. The 63 pro model comes with an abysmal choice of about 7 colours. The only 'grey' available is Selenite
Grey which has been on C200s in the tens of thousands since 2014.

Mercedes really knows how to make their premium buyers feel special...not.
Mercedes Benz is like a 1000hp FWD Car, they have the best bits and pieces but can’t put the power on the road, because the management thinks a 1000hp car must have FWD.

They really should let the engineers loose.

With current regulations , it's pretty impossible .

If they would do this , what would the point of "the top model" would even be if you can get a C class with the same features as the S class....Oh , wait....

Well they’re Mercedes, the S-class would still sell cause it has it’s audience plus it’s bigger & has air suspension as standard with the option to have E-ABC.

plus reclining heated, cooled and massaging rear seats, rear tv screens, Augmented HUD, etc. you know all options you can get on a C-Class. Oh wait…

So in this current gen, the W206 C63 AMG is 4,84m long. Last generation W205 was 4,76m long but somehow it could fit the V8 & the bigger car with a slightly longer hood/bonnet could not fit a V8 in it?

Somebody at Mercedes is lying😂!

They said the I6 wouldn't fit either, but now they've said that it's a natural fit for the W206. Of course the V8 can fit if they wanted it too. This is Mercedes-Benz and a car with a 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder and a V8 all in the same engine bay has been the norm for the past 35.

Yeah time to go back to basics 101. They better bring that M177M Flat-Plane V8 for the FL W206, ‘F1-Tech’ propaganda failed😉.

If they can fit a 12 cylinder in the W463 G65, anything is possible. This is a case of lazy direction and it’s coming from the top. I know the engineers can do it without a doubt.
