Went to see the GL launch this weekend and I was thoroughly impressed. The car is HUGE but looks fantastic. The proportions and styling fit perfectly (much better than the cumbersome looking Q7) and the leather dashboard lifted the cabins ambiance head and shoulders above the M-class. Looking forward to test driving this vehicle.

I also find the GL-class to be a gorgeous vehicle in real life. It just needs the right color.

I wasn't impressed with the GL at 1st but it's starting to grow on me, however sitting inside both the GL & Q7 I must say the Q7 interior felt superior to the GL.

I feel overall the interiors are on par. The Q7 is not the best example of Audi's usually outstanding interiors, IMO at least.

Agreed! both offer amazing interiors, you can't go wrong with either IMO.

I love how in this picture the camera was turned sideways to make the GL look like it is on a steeper slope. If you look, the mountains in the background are sloped also. I think the GL looks great in this color though.

The cropping makes for more dramatic images. I agree the color is a good one...I thought about it but have settled on Obsidian Black.

I note this is the 420CDI...I expect this will be available here in Bluetec in late '08 when it can be 50 state certified.

I am starting to agree more and more with you on that color Artist. I have plenty of time to change my selection of Obsidian Black so will do some further "considering." It looks better in the sunlight than the cloudy shots and we have sun 320 days a year here or more...

yep i think it will suit you better..as you wont go and put huge rimms on it..and tint it and Gangster it up.. for those things a black car is perfect..
but this is more classy and unique.. should do very well on picture.. and we all know you love to take pics

But either way both colours are hot...
just dont buy a silver car..that goes for everyone around the world..

Here is a small montage I put together from the above "sunny" images and from the BYO site images. I like the black but this is a little different and I would not "Gangster it up" as you say...

I may shoot a few images when I get the car...
