Thanks Wolf I am pleasantly surprised by the T-models performance figures for most models only 0.2 to 0.3sec and 2km/h slower than equivalent saloon models. The aerodynamics on this new model must be considerably better than the previous model. The C180 Bluetec I would probably avoid and rather go for the C200 Bluetec, it has good performance and excellent consumption. Best petrol model maybe a C200 with 7G-tronic box.

Actually I compared the performance of the new C180 Bluetec T and C200 Bluetec T to the previous C180 CDI T and C200 CDI T and surprisingly despite both weighing 65kg less than before are about 0.5 to 0.7sec slower from 0-100km/h, but match or exceed the top speeds of the previous models. I am very surprised about this!!

I cannot WAIT to see the specs on this C450. It must come with the 9G and in RWD for me to consider one though.

Wow what a nice car!! Same with me can't wait to see the specs/performance figures etc. on this C450. Lets hope it will produce 295-300kw/550nm, that will provide near perfect split in power between C400 (245kw/480nm) and upcoming C63 AMG (est. 350kw/700nm)

it will have 270 kw, it was already mentioned in some Mercedes official press.

When was it mentioned in Mercedes official press? I haven't seen anything published about this car or it's power by Mercedes Benz, only the magazines like AMS and Autobild have said power of about 270kw in there web write ups but nothing has officially come out about the C450 and it's specs

At jesmb.de I've found this article:

As far as I know jesmb.de is always good informed based on my experiences.

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate sheds some camo in latest spy pics

Fast and practical
A slightly less disguised prototype of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate was spied undergoing testing.

Mercedes-Benz recently took the wraps off theC-Class Estate and they are now getting ready to apply the AMG treatment. The hot wagon will boast usual ingredients from Affalterbach like a beefy body kit matched with a quad exhaust setup and a stiffer sport suspension. It will also come with larger vents and revised front grille while the profile looks more aggressive thanks to the enlarged side skirts.

Matching the masculine looks will be a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine which will power the entire C-Class AMG range (sedan, estate, coupe, cabrio). The motor will churn somewhere in the region of 480 bhp (358 kW) and will likely be offered in a higher state of tune for a rumored S-Model that will also have uprated brakes and a slightly different appearance.

The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate will probably be introduced shortly after the sedan's arrival which should occur before the end of this year.
