Maybach 57/62 (W240/V240) Maybach 62 S Landaulet Concept

The Maybach 57 (W240) and 62 (V240) were the first automobile models of the Maybach brand since its revival by DaimlerChrysler AG (now Mercedes-Benz Group AG). The concept car and production models were based on the Mercedes-Benz W140 S-Class. Both models had an "S" (Spezial) option, and additional Landaulet version for the 62 S. Production: April 2002 – February 2013, 3,321 produced.
Re: Revealed: Maybach 62 Landaulet

It is basically a regular sedan with a fabric roof-center that can be folded away.:D

I love that white/black combo...:usa7uh:

:t-cheers:

This one of the most glorious version of the Car.

So happy it is back...Pure luxury and glamour.

Sadly none of those passagers in the Maybach 62 Landaulet will be stars, great politicians, kings, or popes. They will be very wealthy people with suspicious income.

Re: Revealed: Maybach 62 Landaulet

I think this car looks very good indeed, there's something about it which makes it look much more majestic and even athletic than the standard car.

Re: Revealed: Maybach 62 Landaulet

Wow this was very unexpected. I think it's amazing and probably the best car car Maybach has done so far. It looks very royal and majestic. There are no doubts that it's going to sell out quickly. Just like I wished it has the same exterior design as the Maybach S57.

Re: Revealed: Maybach 62 Landaulet

wow something is very wierd with this car..
it feels very speciall unique..
it might not be the greatest looking car..
it might not be the resulution to MM´s problems..
but belive me.. that back seat is probably the finest place you can be in any car on this planet..
and thats a fact..

Not if you're Bush or Mugabe parading through the streets.

Re: Revealed: Maybach 62 Landaulet

I'm with the artist on this one. That's probably the best backseat on the planet. What more could you possibly ask for.

I have seen coachbuilding comapgnies designing even more crazy backseats. :D

Re: Revealed: Maybach 62 Landaulet

^really.. on a car sold today.. please show us..

PS
I think im starting to understand MM.. this car especially
look at how the driver area is cut off from the passanger, this car is to be driven in.. so who the hell cares if the driver has some W220 buttons and displays...
not the owner..
and the look of the car.. it doesent matter either.. it doesent have to look good..
all this car has to do is.. kick ass for the rear seat passenger..
and my god does it do that well..

Yes the main idea of the MM is "a car designed from the rear-seats".

They did not want to have the longest hood, the highest grille... Only the better rear space and the better comfort in the back seats. And a high grille is impressive, buit makes too much noise at high speed...So no big grille.

Trouble is, the rich guys still want the longest hood and the biggest grille...

So they don't sell as much as the Roller...

The more I see it, the more I want it...:D
This is the only recent limo that appeals to me. I even think I would hesitate between this and my beloved 1960's Rolls-Royce Phantom V.. :icondrool:bowdown::eek2:

Thank you so much Maybach for this car.

This is pure dream. No other car can make you feel that.
Just imagine you in that car...

You sit here, comfortably driven by Georges, in your incredible seats... You see the sky, it is blue... You feel the sun, it is warm...You feel the wind, it is delicious... You think to nothing but to enjoy the moment...The smooth suspension rocks you delicately...
