Hope this isnt a repost, but its fantastic news!

As reported by the team LOADED representative on E46F:

Yesterday we succed with our timeattack. We did 7 minutes 22 seconds on the Nordschliefe at the Nürburgring in Germany. The Germanys very own BMW CSL "guru" Tom Schirmer (Shirmer Motorsports) change the whole set-up and many parts was changed in the chassie past weeks. And that helped us getting the this fantastic time.

To bad it was cold, only +4degrees, to cold for getting proper temp in the tires and we also have some cars in our way at the track. But we are very happy now. We know we have 10 more seconds to find if the tiretemp etc. But now we are 5 seconds faster that the PaganiZonda, 13 seconds faster than the Swedish Koenigsegg and 5 seconds faster that the Carrera GT. We are now the fastest roadlegal BMW in the world on the Nürburgring. We will be back at the Nürburgring in march to catch the EDO Porsche, time 7:15. We now know we can beat this car. And i want to send my many thanks for all support along the way.

Don't know what to say...how can it beat CGT and Zonda F CS?

hopefully we should be getting a video soon.

btw, does any one if the track was cleared when the Zonda was setting its time or were there also a few other cars on the ring?

from what I know, the car currently has 640 HP and is significantly lighter than a CSL. Its got a CF Hood and CF Fenders too with some one of a kind lightweight magnesium wheels. The power to weight ratio must be pretty crazzy!

Crazy machine :t-drive: .I wonder how much this guy spent on options on this car..but,at the same time,to get such performance I bet it´s worth every cent invested..sick..and one of most important thing about this car..it looks almost like stock car..

Don't think so,the car is heavily modified and alot of $$$$$ were spent on it,so i think it's doable:D ,but like this we'll see alot of crazy modified cars doin the same thing all the time with times being broken all the time:eusa_doh: :D

Modified or not its a great time but a EDO Porsche achieved 7.15 min so the CSL can go faster.
Yes the car is roadleagal but look like crap :D

The time was done with a swedish STCC driver and the car has lots of sponsors so the owner havent paid much for the car.

PS, the idea was to put the V10 engine in but they stayed with a I6.

The car may be modified a lot, but there are thousands heavily modified cars and i don't recall too many of them achieving these numbers, so they deserve credit.

:t-cheers:

If money was spent on quality stuff (IMO that´s the case here) ,reliability shouldn´t be a problem..640 HP is a lot,but I think for this 7:22 time suspension and other tweaks are more responsible than brute power:t-drive: .

yep respect to the Loaded team for making this fast car..
but note to everyone.. this car is not even a BMW anymore..its that modified..haha
