i8 Leaked? BMW i8 Spyder

The BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid sports car developed by BMW. The i8 was part of BMW's electrified fleet and was marketed under the BMW i sub-brand. The production version of the BMW i8 was unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and was released in Germany in June 2014. Deliveries to retail customers in the U.S. began in August 2014. A roadster variant was launched in May 2018. Production ended in June 2020.
I wonder if the book contains the still-born Production model of the CS Concept Car before the Financial Crisis killed it.

Impressive coverage by BMW Blog of this amazing book. Thanks for the effort!

About the car itselft… It looks like a cheap attempt on BMW’s part. The M concept looked spectacular. The black renders here not that much.

Not sure what is the problem internally but it looks like BMW simply has no interest in building a supercar like Audi or MB. If this was the closest the company came to an M1 successor, then what a shame.
Glad it was useful. It was quite the process. Reading the book, getting the main ideas out but not sharing the entire story, we want Steve to still tell the full story through the book etc. Definitely 2 great books, waiting for the third one.

The book has some amazing story. There is one more coming out which is great! Just need to wait to go live with TopGear at the same time.

Typo in the article...

"pre-order price of $299.95/€270/£78.11"

UK pre-order price is £235.90.
