So blackouts are defo. If you have a 'smart' meter, you're screwed. This won't be 1973, and blanket powercuts, This will be those with the meters remotely switched off. Why do you think they pushed them so hard. And now they want more suckers to rush and take them, before the cuts begin, by luring you with cheaper electricity, if you use off-peak.

If you fall for it, you're trapped. I'd say ~35% of households buckled to the constant pressure in the last few years, and have smart meters. That's more than enough to switch off, to allow the important people to have 100% electricity.

That car could easily be £3,500 next week. That means it's unsellable - the seller would have to eat too much, so probably pull it.

The car market is a week or two behind the housing market - the latter gone off a cliff, and the idiot sellers of cars thinking everything's still fine.
