Kia KIA K9 flagship comes into focus

Maybe this car is a copy of many others, but it makes me think "better a good copy than a bad original. Rear looks like 7 Series but in much better.

Wow, BMW meet Lexus and other typical designs today. Looks "like Designs that are popular" from the sides and back, but absolutely appalling from the front.

Fortunately, M-B are safe, they're copying everyone but M-B on this, especially BMW.

Mix of the best designs/concepts the past 5 years. Nose has F10, CS-concept and Citroen DS5 in it. Rear has some Audi hidden in there...

It's just too easy and unfair if you have the opportunity to create a new luxury brand from scratch

I think that nose looks awful, personally. I'm no fan of BMW's new soft-nose, super blunt EU look (namely on the 5-Series), and this does look more "Design emphasized", but that terribly quirky and forced shape of the grille just ruins what would have been an "decent/pretty nice" front end to me. What it now ends up looking like, is a wannabe BMW front with a forced and awkward grille shape.

Not bad for a cheap luxury car and it really MUST be cheap as it looks cheap
The interior is a joke with that ugly steering wheel and the quality already looks awful...
I need to see pictures with bigger wheels and probably a body in darker color

The nose is akin to the 5er GT but a bit more handsome. Overall KIA gets a thumbs up for a stellar effort of using inspiration from BMW for the exterior and Audi for the interior. It's all subtle and not a blatant rip off.

both exterior and interior look beautiful for a KIA... imo... not overdesigned... but still a KIA... and wheels are too small for the car of such size...anyway, a nice design that does not require to get used to...or to force yourself to like it...imo.

Look, the Germans have grown accustomed to imitation and competition from lesser brands over the years - especially in the large, luxury segment. So they're pretty much used to it.

But those marketing guys at Lexus: they must've just shat their pants.

Yes, the KIA is a pastiche of styling cues from a myriad of other makes, still... doesn't stop it from being a decent looking car.

and surely more.
