According to the article we won’t know the official name until Sept, and I assume that's when they’ll fully unveil the car. I agree they've been teasing it way too long.it’s time to see the car.

Honestly if they kept the same exact design but developed a mew architecture for ICE instead of EV, made a couple of different engine options (I6, V8, and V8 TT or Supercharged) then I think most people would be more inclined to love it.I have no doubt it's going to be an amazing car. Gorgeous inside and out, ride and handling balance for the gods, but as an EV it just won't save Jaguar. They need to do the hard thing and re-engineer this platform for an I6 and V12, if at all possible. Same for the SUV. It would be a crying shame if Jaguar disappeared.

Do people know they're from the same group? I'd guess 98% don't know, let alone that they both belong to Tata. However, people still buy the LR part of JLR. So hopefully I’m wrong.
I don’t think they do, LR is more desirable and luxurious than the previous offerings from Jag. Think about it this way, the Kardashians (not a fan personally) drive Range Rovers but never Jags. Say what you will about them, but there is no doubt they influence what young women find desirable. Every young girl wants a RR/LR or a G-Wagon depending on their socioeconomic situation, some start in Evoques, Velars, or Defenders and others in full RR SVs and G Wagons.Do people know they're from the same group? China might have a replica available to buy before customer can take delivery of the Jag.They missed a trick. They could have shown a pre concept in Beijing. Steal the show and get people excited about a brand with nothing to offer now considered on life support.
First drive in German, you can put it in English:
The car itself will be a winner. It just doesn’t have an actual engine.

There appears to be a strong correlation between the fact that, for example, Land Rover and Porsche are the most copied brands in China and are also two of those that have lost the most sales there, an issue that should not be underestimated.China might have a replica available to buy before customer can take delivery of the Jag.
The withdrawal of subsidies there is a stab in the chest for all these EV launches; it remains to be seen whether demand will stabilize over time.Alas, it will probably take quite a while before the North American market will, if ever, embrace this type of vehicle.
Is the reviewer really tall or is the space just very cramped? I don’t remember Andrew Frankel of the Intercooler comments about the space in the cabin, just that it had a great seating position and the driver sat in the car and low rather than on the car.In that last video the interior on the front looks super claustrophobic, the width of pillar A is ridiculous, never seen before.
