We thought only Jay-Z could offered the 2005 Maybach Exelero Concept, but apparently some dealership in Austria had one built on order but never sold it. Well now they are trying to sell the car and are asking for 5,000,000 Euros ($7,848,492).
We’d buy it but we already have one Exelero and a Veyron Pur Sang on the way. Wow, that felt really good to say. One day… okay - we’ll stop lying.

Refresher: V12 bi-turbo from Maybach 57 S 690-hp with a peak torque of 737 ft-lb. 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 218mph.

Rapper Birdman Pays $8 Million For Maybach Exelero

Rapper Birdman (Bryan Williams), also co-founder of Cash Money Records, has apparently spent $8,000,000 on the 700-hp Maybach Exelero. The above pic was taken and tweeted by Birdman on his Twitter account along with the $8 million claim a couple of weeks after he was quoted with saying “They got this new Maybach that I want that costs $8 million, I gotta have it.”

Birdman, while not as well-known in the public as Jay-Z, Diddy and Dr. Dre, has a net worth estimated to be $100 million, and owns several other expensive exotics such as Maybach’s Landaulet and Bugatti’s Veyron. Powered by a V12 biturbo powerplant, Maybach’s Exelero goes 0-60 in just 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 218-mph. Rumor has it that he’ll be coating it in a lovely splash of red – we wonder if we’ll ever see it out in public ever again.

Last month during an interview, Birdman talked about how badly he wanted a $8 million Maybach Exelero, but no one would sell. Well, it looks like he found a way to convince them because he’s now the owner of what he claims is the only Exelero that was ever made. Birdman is ranked #5 in The Forbes Wealthiest Hip-Hop Artists list with a worth of $100 million, and already has a Maybach Laudaulet that cost $2 million as well as a $2 million Bugatti Veyron. The car comes in black (seen above in a picture he tweeted), but word on the street is that he’s planning to have it painted red, and judging by the other picture he tweeted, I’d say it’s true.
