Ioniq 5 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a battery electric compact crossover SUV produced by Hyundai since 2021. It is the first product to be marketed under the Ioniq sub-brand, and the first model developed on the Hyundai Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).
I drove one and I take back everything I said previously. An absolute blast. Not just a great driving EV, but a great driving car. Period. Also drove a Macan E 4S, brilliant car, but not as fun. Also drove iX and Polestar 3 - snooze fest. The Polestar interior is the best of the lot though.

Thanks for sharing, Sunny. What's the ride comfort like? I get the feeling it's hard as nails.

The ride wasn't harsh. Of course many variables here, I didn't change the suspension mode per say, so not sure what it was in. I did use the "N" buttons to change the modes, but not sure what they were programmed to. But whatever it was in, definitely good enough to be a daily family car.

I never drove it but its the only EV that could replace my Taycan, ther's no range gains but more cargo space. I hope for better range in the facelift.

the ioniq5n is really such a positive surprise, but the Taycan for me is still the best driving EV
but yes, also quite more expensive

in Germany we can get a new ioniq5n now for around 450 EUR/Mont (if a company even for 377 EUR/month), withought any downpayment, for 48 months, then you give it back
for that kind of money it think you get the maximum of an EV...

I don't know why they call this orange, it looks red like a fire engine to me.

Really good review of the 2025 IONIQ 5.
