Spectre [Hot!] Rolls-Royce 'Spectre' EV

The Rolls-Royce Spectre is a full-sized luxury electric grand tourer manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The first deliveries of the car were made in the last quarter of 2023. It is Rolls-Royce's first electric vehicle (EV) and rides on the same platform as the Phantom and Cullinan.
That second photo shows how thick and tall the body is.

The whole car is of gigantic proportions. 23 inch alloys with truck sized tyres. It's SEVERAL inches longer than an X7 and S-Class.

This is utterly insane for a two door coupe.

Who ever orders one won't feel cheated when they take delivery.

Yeah, I like it a fair bit. Love the recessed headlights and the surfacing around them. Was never a huge fan of the Wraith and its fastback-esque rear but this looks a touch better. Proportions are great the frontal DRG is emphatically Rolls Royce.
Interior is terrific too and is entirely in keeping with, and unmistakably, Rolls - can’t be confused with anything else. Plush.

What’s also notable - even commendable - is how BMW has used the new 7er front end as a stylistic bridge between the two brands.

I like it, but the interior is stuck in the past. This would have been the time move the Rolls interior theme into the future.

They say the first customers are presently owners of other Rolls-Royce models. So I expect they didn’t want to change everything and keep it familiar to their customers. To change it all would be challenging at the least to come up with something not used or showcased.

In today’s world any and every thing is justifiable, so sure it’s whatever. I refuse to believe that buyers of a brand new Rolls EV don’t want an updated interior too. Nothing crazy but move the game on like Bentley does. This interior looks to be a lift and lay from the Ghost.

A huge sculpture, a coupe the length of the Maybach! It must be worth seeing.

A tremendous piece of design, so that it is clear who Rolls Royce is

Indeed. Bugatti have managed to completly revamp the interior from Veyron to Chiron without ruining the cabin.

To me, the Spectre interior looks too much like a reskinned BMW interior from 20 years ago. RR might as well send out a press release stating “We will not change our interior between now and year 2035”

Damn thing is more of a suv than the purosangue
Mercedes may as well produce Project Maybach by Virgil Abloh to compete with the Spectre. His electric Maybach looks better than the EQ models designed by Mercedes themselves.

I understand the concerns with the familiar interior, but I think they are overstated. As is, the Spectre interior is quite calm, solid and inviting, which is what the average RR rider desires next to luxury and quality. The last thing some of us need is the EQ range interior types in RR. My cardiologist has advised me to avoid "screens" of any type to the extent possible; the casino vibes of the EQ/S-class interiors absolutely overwhelm my nerves and heart.

That’s just an excuse. You don’t have fill the interior with screens to move the game or design language onwards. Bentley does it perfectly without going overboard or looking like an interior from 2010.

A twin electric motor set up is an interesting technical choice. I'd of though a triple electric motor set up would have been standard specifications particularly with it's near 3 TONNE weight. An electric motor per tonne perhaps? LOL!
