I'm not from the industry, so pardon me if get this wrong... But I don't get why they're calling this a validation model when a more accurate descriptive term for this (in my view) would be: a mock up.

Don't you kinda need working suspension (among other things) to validate stuff? Maybe it's just different jargon, but GMA validation prototypes were mostly functional.

All this stuff right here appears to not be connected to anything...

HF-11 vs Carrera GT. Package validation. Benchmarking and design study. Circa Summer 2023.
These images and VR experience are a vital step in gaining deeper insight into future program development. In this case it was placed against the modern G.O.A.T. the Carrera GT. A more appropriate check would Zagato GT, since it has a more streamlined roofline. This set out our engineering baseline as well. As we wanted a much more compact platform then the GT. In the end HF-11 is 450mm shorter while sharing similiar width and height. Not only can the exterior be compared but so can interior volumes, and underlying engineering concepts. This process is common in automotive design with an entire industry setup to facilitate this type of benchmarking. While some companies even buy competitors cars and full disassemble them to learn in full depth.

Turns out the clients prefer a usable, reliable engine over exotic, mega high rpm and specific output bespoke unit.
Good luck with that 910 kg target now.
"We've investigated a lot of flat-6 architecture. Everything from factory engines, bespoke engines, hotrod engines, shops all around the world. We've sort of narrowed it down to a couple, based on let's say client feedback.

I think the current leading one is actually water-cooled architecture. There seems to be an appetite for a car you can use every day, that isn't so high-strung, that isn't going to, you know, grenade itself after 100 hours.

So originally we did announce a crazy air-cooled motor, and that's still slowly moving along. But it seems like the clients actually are like: Let's back off that. Let's just get a car that I can use every day and I'm not afraid."
