296 [2021-] [Hot!] Ferrari 296 GTB - New V6 Hybrid Supercar for 2022

The Ferrari 296 (Type F171) is a two-seater, offered as a GTB coupe and a GTS folding hard-top convertible. It is a plug-in hybrid with a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and its powertrain combines a twin-turbocharged 120-degree bank angle V6, with an electric drive fitted in between the engine and gearbox. The 296 can be driven in electric-only mode for short distances, to comply with use in urban zero-emission zones.
So I made a few fairly major alterations to my GTB spec before it gets locked in. I'm still torn of whether to do any exterior carbon. Right now I have none. My detailer is fairly certain we can do a gloss black xpel on the lower plaster bits which would look great. That's obviously the cheaper option. Right now my spec if hovering around $450k which for the non-limited production Ferrari is crazy.

The changes I made above were just to liven up the spec and make it more fun. Still Rosso imola outside. Made the calipers yellow. Added the italian flag motif plague to the rear deck above the Ferrari.

On the interior. Changed from Beige to Cuoio. A lot of carbon. I'm having the italian flag painted on the sides of the carbon shift paddles and at 12 o'clock above the steering. Wheel. Keeping the Daytona seats as I like the integration of classic and modern.

Bewildering. Almost $100k more than what a base Pisa cost in 2019.

I had no idea that there are numerous places to have the Italian flag painted.

Remember base MSRP is like $326k so my options are almost $120k. So a nice car.......

And I have no exterior carbon. The total exterior carbon package is about $28k. So you could easily get to $500k with one of these. It's insane. I haven't gotten my breakdown yet of the pricing but I can't wait to see what the italian flag touches are. My guess is $10k.

It was making me think, for $280k you can have a nice spec Artura and the newest software update supposedly has them 100% perfect. That's a huge price difference and the performance is not that different. Makes the 296 much harder to justify.

Very much like the spec, but absolutely love those Daytona seats with the darker (black?) inserts.

However the Artura is not a Ferrari and the buying experience is probably not the on par. You only live once. Might as well spend the money whilst you are alive and healthy :)

Somethings in life simply cost a big premium but are on many occasions worth experiencing at least once.

thanks for making me feel better brotha :)

Absolutely brilliant @Jo_Sta7
Only thing, the yellow calipers? Why? I'd go for black on this spec.

Originally I had silver. The black just fade away and disappear which I don’t want. I saw a Rosso Magma (which is close to Imola) with yellow calipers and the diamond cut wheels and it popped fantastically. The yellow works with the scuderia shield on the front fender.

Don't get me wrong, this spec is to die for. But can you show us with Silver and black? Silver particularly sounds freaking amazing.

Gosh this design is nearing perfection for me. Retro modern.
