Count the number of BMW fans on GCF minus Levi.

Somewhere lies of field filled of dead horses.
Comparison of the three generations:
Here's how the 4 Series dimensions compare to the E92 and E46.
4 Series Dimensions:
Length: 182.6 in (+1 in than E92 / +5.8 in than E46)
Width: 71.9 in (+1.7 in than E92) / +1.8 in than E46)
Height: 53.6 in (-0.6 in than E92) / -0.4 in than E46)
Wheelbase: 110.6 in (+2 in than E92 / +3.1 in than E46)
It's shocking just how much more aggressive each generation of M3 has become, I remember when the E46 came out and thought that thing was beefy which it was but this latest edition just blows it away. Just like the RS6 if you see this new M4 in the rear view mirror you pull over in hesitation.
Car magazine had a interview with bmw M team, and they said "v6?, over my dead body"
Nice to see you, Poverty. How about an update on your bonkers TT in your same thread?![]()
Few numbers from latest AutoZeitung:
- Engine: straight-6 biturbo from the Z4 sDrive35is
- Power: ca. 435 hp
- Torque: ca. 540 Nm
- Weight: ca. 1490 kg
- 0-100 km/h: 4,2 s (according to a BMW-insider a testcar did 4,1 s)
I know some people might prefer the own an open top M4 but IMO it goes against everything the brand stands for, if you want to make an open top then design it from the word go to not add weight and increase the CoG of an existing model.
^Scott I don't doubt it will be popular but that isn't what I am talking about.
