As far as I can recall, it was initially planned that the Audi PPE Sportback sedoupe would follow the Porsche e-Macan as the second VAG PPE automobile. Over the course of time, innuendo began to indicate that the eTron Q6 would actually precede the low ride height sedoupe. But now, it appears that VAG may have reverted to its' original presentation plan.

Incidentally, that image is looking very interesting indeed. Thankyou for posting it.

Yes, it is quite conventional. But with a nice, smooth modernistic twist. Tidy and cohesive. Not challenging to decipher the design language. I think that I prefer it to the eTron GT, in fact. We've got the stunning Porsche Taycan after all-and this A6 eTron complements its' Zuffenhausen sibling rather than mimicking it.

I suspect that the EQS will be punching a bit higher, segment wise, than the A6 eTron. Perhaps the VAG Landjet cars will turn the EQS into a Ladenhüter.

That being said, this A6 eTron appeals to my eyes immediately. Probably a good thing. With the EQS, I've gone from hot to cold and all in between. And now, following its' official presentation, I find myself going ice cold on the cars' exterior design.

It may well be that the A6 eTron will be intended to eventually replace the ICE A6 + Avant and A7 lines. I suspect that, should this be the case, we'll eventually see an A6 eTron Avant as well.

Looks great, but comparing a concept to a production EQS seems a bit unfair. Nonetheless, conventional this Audi may be, this has my attention.
