The benefit of angry looking BMW DTRL or headlights, is that people move out of your way on the motorway. This is certainly the case with my M140i. The only time it hasn't happened was when I was behind an X5 M50d on a motorway that clearly didn't want to be bullied by me.

Well, think of me as that X5 driver. I’m moving out of the way of drivers/cars who are significantly faster than I am and who don’t show any pathetic behavior. To my experience Porsche drivers are usually decent and polite and those are the ones, that don’t need to slow down when I am in front of them.

The X7 facelift somehow looks less aggressive in person. It's the XM that I wouldn't want to see in my rearview mirror for several reasons.

The split light front seems to suit the X7 better than the new 7 series, it just looks better executed. I still have not seen one in real life, but it certainly would catch my attention.

It's amazing that the new look works in a graft on to an older vehicle like the X7 vs being designed in from the start with a new vehicle like the 7-Series.

The X7 front looks nowhere near as luxurious or classy as the 7er, but does look very nice in its own right. I personally prefer the X5 over the X7...X7 is too boxy and tall whereas X5 just perfect!
