Daytona SP3 [Hot!] 2021 Ferrari Daytona SP3

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a limited production mid-engine sports car. Production: 2022-2025.
Cheaper to maintain for any Ferrari is misnomer. I mean it's like saying $25K is cheaper than paying $30K for an oil change/service. Technically true, but totally irrelevant as both prices are absurd.

Not entirely true. Some people don't get rich by flushing money down the toilet. Ferrari charge $2,000 for apple CarPlay. You can bet that any diagnosis or repair of an electric hybrid system will cost arm, leg and a mother in-law. Don't believe me? Check out the prices for these LaFerrari spare parts.

This doesn't even include labour.

Would you rather spend $2,500,000 on an SP3 or a LaFerrari which has another system of potential failure to the tune of 10% of the cars value? You because you are rich doesn't make you willing to accept a car that, out of warranty, has the ownership costs of a small aircraft.

I said with Ferrari, and it is exactly true. For one no one buying these cars is pinching pennies and like I said before, all their prices are absurd. What they charge for service or parts are an engine or an entire car somewhere else. 4-10K either way is nothing when you're paying $40K to service a car. You don't pay millions of dollars for a car and then complain that the engine costs 200K or 250K. It's all relative........relatively expensive.

ALL European car manufacturers soak you on options. That (and reliability) are why Asian cars exist. The really smart ones like Porsche or Ferrari charge you move to remove items. Let that sink in for a min.

Carbon Tub (complete): 722k
KERS: 162k
roof: 60k-100k
front bumper: 27k
doors: 85k
frunk: 27k
complete engine: 90k-100k
complete gearbox: 47k
spoiler: 11k
rear bumper: 25k

i've ignored stuff under 10k, though even that quickly adds up to easily above 10k with stuff such as diffusers (active and passive)

I know you guys hate him, but this a great video on the car and about the Ferrari models on hand.

For me it's a love-hate relationship lol. I do admire him always being himself. Annoying sometimes, but honest and straightforward. He can talk your ear off though, without saying anything.

Two months ago Ferrari offered, for the first time, edt need warranty. Guess which car it was for? The LaFerrari. Surprise surprise.

Clearly the risks of an out of warranty KERS failure on the way to Monterey car show is giving owners diarrhea. :ROFLMAO:

As the last ICE Ferrari hyper car, the SP3 could be a gem and crown jewel in any ferreri collection in 5-10 year. There is no denying that the LaFerrari is a design masterpiece. However, the Ferrari 355 is one of the most iconic cars but has poor demand because of atrocious reliability.

Sure you've paid millions of dollars for the car already. You aren't getting over on Ferrari and you aren't saving any real money relative to this type of car.

Poor reliability is one thing, i.e. a car that won't run properly for long no matter what you do to maintain it, vs high maintenance for a car that runs properly. If that's true about the F355 then it was just a poorly made car. Ask any Jaguar XJS owner about this.

The weight is kind of disappointing. Seems to weigh about the same as an 812 Comp - 1485kg dry -, given that a LaFerrari weighs 1585kg kerb with battery, e-motor and KERS, there's no reason it couldn't have weighed more like 1485kg kerb.

Ferraris official dryweight of Laferrari is 1255 kg, so it is 230 kg heavier….!?!?!

Of all the latest wave of Ferraris, this is the one that touches my heart and makes my guts tingle just looking at it, since the Laferrari was introduced

I see what you mean and would even agree if the SP2 didn't exist.

Well, I would accept that exception to the rule, although the "Barquetas" ran with an advantage, you couldn't make an ugly one even by proposing it, unless you're McLaren with the Elva...
