Horrible BMW 520d Ownership Experience... Please Help!

If this happend to me in Germany, I would have changed my purchase-contract (in German: Wandlung) and have a new one. Of course, without paying any money. It's quite common over here (Germany), to take such action in case of horrible-cases like yours. Mostly succesful. But then again, I don't know anything about Indian Law.

@Bharat Acharya; Wish you very much of success by getting a new 5-series! (which you deserve after this ordeal)

Waoo that is allot of problems, i dont think i could stand the abuse you been through and demand my money back. How about going to local papers or TV and share your story about the safety aspect of things! I mean seriously you all could have died in the scenario you mention. I'm sure even BMW AG will listen if you bring that up, also Facebook is a mighty option for sharing such things. You have the proof so i'm sure BMW would not want to something like this in the spotlight.

Actions such as this should always be the last option but from what i read you have given them many chances and they have not cared enough so media is the last option or a lawyer.

Same things happen in Europe. And with other cars too (German). Solution: buy japaneese cars.

Not sure if its better with other brands. I had an 325i and never had a problem with.
Well if you dont count some tail light issue but it was sorted out quickly. So not everyone will have the problems either. My local Toyota center is pretty lousy, i can never consider buy anything from them, they have a really bad customer service even before you buy their car so...
