Does anyone have any more information on the rumour doing the rounds that the MK Vl golf may not come to Australia? I live in New Zealand and am wondering if the same thing applies. Seems very odd that VW could possibly be serious about not selling such a "world car" in large territories due to exchange rate concerns and lack of profitability (ok NZ is not large population wise but Aussie is not be to ignored) - surely their credibility and ability to compete with a model designed in 2002/3 thru say 2013 would be in doubt?

Its false info both VWoA and VGA staff have confirmed its coming to America and Australia respectively.
