"T.50s... a little tease.
During Monterey Car Week, the very first T.50s dynamic prototype - XP1 - will make its global public debut at the Quail, a Motorsports Gathering. See it in the carbon fibre at 9:20am, Friday 18 August."

Yes the Michelin logo is beautiful. Also French, I see product placement n'est pa? Lucrative?;)

"T.50s... Just teasing two.
Only five days now until the very first T.50s dynamic prototype XP1 - will make its global public debut at the Quail, a Motorsports Gathering: 9:20am, Friday 18 August."

Not sure why they are doing "teases" when the car had already been revealed and what they are showing is just a 3D model anyway...

But, seeing a real car still will be nice... and hopefully even hearing it.

Well, that's the first production T.50 delivered. Now let's just hope this really marks the start of deliveries, not just them having made 3 cars so they can say deliveries have now started, but the actual serial production still being months away.

Let's also hope that this means that the first drives are actually happening this month. In April, GM said that they will be happening "in summer", and this is the last summer month. The pre-series cars, which are supposed to function as press cars, have been ready for some time now, so I am not sure what additional delay there might be.

"T.50s - it's almost time.
The T.50s produces 772PS from its 3.9-litre naturally aspirated V12, and a pretty incredible sound too. Come and see its public debut at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering Friday 18 August, 9:20am."

What a pity that they put on those terrible big 90โ€™s headlightsโ€ฆ. I am really trying to like this car, and I love all about it except its design. What a design flawโ€ฆ..

I noticed that in the last month or so, GMA changed the quoted weight for the T.50. It used to be 986 kg wet (except for fuel) and 957 kg dry. Now they only give a dry weight of 997 kg, which would mean around 1036 kg wet โ€” a 40 kg increase. I wonder what caused this, for a Gordon Murray halo car, significant weight increase. Also, a bit disappointing to see Gordon Murray of all people resort to only quoting dry-weight-figures to mask a weight increase. I guess they wanted to keep that weight figure under 1000 kg no matter what.
