Love with this climate and right in Spa, "I seemed to see a cute kitten"? Ola is there in the Mercedes box?

How fast that medical car turns, great publicity for Mercedes to see an AMG touring turning in the rain like that, it's more effective than any other marketing

Waste of a race I guess we ain't going to go racing ...probably a 2 lap safety car race for classification

The sun will be setting at around 19:30 hours. I reckon the race will need to get cracking within the next half hour. It's 17:30 hours at the Spa circuit right now.

...the cars will supposedly venture onto the circuit in about 10 minutes time.

Kinda feel bad for George Russell. Nobody wants their first podium this way. Frankly, I doubt anybody would want to reach the podium this way whether it's your first or if you've had many before this but such is life.

At least Sophia Flörsch is, for what it's worth, very pleasant on the eyes;). "Eine sehr attraktive junge Frau."

Floersch appears to be a very personable young woman... but so far a less than average racing driver. Which is a big shame.

She recently did a piece with Stereoscreen, who I'm normally a big fan of (they did 3 full length feature pieces for BMW including NO LIMITS, the story of Alex Zanardi racing at Spa in 2015)

... this is a marketing piece for Shaeffler ... I won't comment further on her motivations and abilities, but this is the kind of coverage ... I have to admit, I don't like. I get why she's hyped up, she's immensely marketable, but the talent has to be demonstrated, and she's not there yet. I absolutely hope she gets there, but for now, she's an also ran, like the VAST majority of other young racing drivers out there.

There's a possibility that Verstappen could be awarded the fastest lap point/half-point.

In the official FIA final results, only the starting lap was included, so Mazepin would lose his fastest lap. Not that the Russian driver gained half an extra World Championship point for that, as he did not finish in the top-ten.

In the lap before, Verstappen was the fastest with a time of 3:27.071. Still, the sixteen-time Grand Prix winner has not yet been awarded the half-point. Motorsport-Magazin.com Confronted Helmut Marko with her findings. "We will check it out, we would have liked to have scored half an extra point," said the Austrian top man.

According to the German media, there is a chance that no extra half-point will be awarded for the fastest lap this time, as the regulations require it to be a 'valid lap'.
