So sad for Seb

Same here.

But such is F1, after all. I reckon that Seb will find a bit of consolation in the recognition that he drove an excellent race. And as neither he nor AM are anywhere in the remote vicinity of fighting for the WDC/WCC crowns, the loss of points and money will be a bit less painful than would be the case were they further up the grid. It'll sting for a few days and then be forgotten. And not to be forgotten: Sebs' no stranger to hard luck and tough times. His Ferrari experience must have left him gutted and I'm quite surprised that he chose to carry on with AM rather than retiring from F1 with 4 WDCs' and a growing family to his name.

Brutal race, Hamilton kicked ass after the f#ck up at the second start.

They have appeal the ruling but doubt will change as its a clear rule...very sad would have been AM first podium.

Some people just have way too much time on their hands.

I love Hamilton's mental breakdown. I love the public boo-ing him. I love how nobody except blind MB fanboys likes him.

Summer stop now, and afterwards Max's road to the championship. Mercedes is so disgusting I don't even know where to start anymore.

I genuinely hate expressing this as I like Max Verstappen:

I'm can't help but get this ominous suspicion that if Max can't clutch the WDC this year, the title may remain elusive for seasons' to come. Things will not become easier in the coming seasons unless RBR produces an absolute rocketship, overwhelmingly superior to the what its' competitors provide their respective drivers. George Russell or Lando Norris in an M-B AMG F1 team car (I think Valtteri will no longer be there next year) ? Charles Leclerc somehow getting himself divorced from Ferrari and ending up in a truly functional, competent team ? Unsettling thoughts for Max supporters. And F1 is full of stories of stellar drivers not having managed to win a WDC.

With any luck at all the next regulations will bring the performance of the cars closer together, and whether Max wins a WDC or not (or whether those other names do), hopefully watching them fight for it will be more entertaining.

Dont know what to say, Bottas really screwed this race up ! its raining and he was not suppose to be on the Mclaren gearbox before breaking !

Excellent recovery by Lewis, I believe if Max also had a healthy car he would have been in a better position.

This my friends is the definition of butthurt.
The hate is immense, it’s beautiful to see true human nature. Raw and nasty!

I believe that it's more a case of boredom-induced fatigue rather than "butthurt and hate". Even watching the masters consistantly perfecting their craft can become tedious when things become far too predictable. Michael Schumachers' 5 consecutive year WDC tally with Ferrari, Sebastian Vettels' 4 year run at RBR and now Lewis Hamiltons' 6 in total WDCs' with M-B AMG F1 are examples of the dilemma. Valentino Rossi and Sebastien Loeb are further motorsport examples.

That being said, "boo-ing" a driver is simply not acceptable (unless, of course, he's done something despicably dastardly).

Hamilton is a horrible man, and a sour loser. Just like MB racing and that shemale Toto Wolf.

It's now coming to light to everybody who's not blind.

So was senna Schumacher and many other top athletes, Jordan , Kobe .
All can’t be comfortable in defeat like Jos and Max ;)

I always value your measured response but I have to disagree with you. LaArtist is right on the money.

NO HE'S NOT ! HE'S A TERRIBLE PERSON AND A SOUR LOSER !!...uhhh...wait...That was Rubens "The Whingemeister" Barrichello. And that funky Rubens "podium shuffle" made it all the worse ! It made me want to drop an anvil on his feet. Tossed from a helicopter.
And by the way, can LaArtist even dance ??
