I will get lambasted but Verstappen should have left a bit more room as it was clear that Ocon was eager and fast enough to get past.

Well, Max is what, 10 years younger than Lewis? I used to thnk the same back in the day when comparing Lewis with Fernando.
The spectacle he has provided today is what it most important to me. That driving level has only been shown by Hamilton and Alonso. He surely deserved winning.

I'm sorry but I disagree. I can understand his anger. Ocon was a complete and utter Moron of imense proportions. O wait let's not forget his a Mercedes driver. He was supposed to back off when Max overtook him because he was not challenging Max for position. Max is obviously pissed and knows what he did was deliberate. I would've done the same.
The whole blue flags thing is nonsense anyway. They're in the same race. Somebody lapping another car shouldn't need any extra help to get past.

With Hamilton's historical bad luck at Interlagos, today was destined to be someone else's victory. Why fight someone who's on a different strategy?
It's like getting into an argument with a random guy in a bar/club. Do you challenge them and risk getting glassed or do you walk away, eat pancakes in the morning and live happily ever after.
This is not the first or last time that Max has ended up in trouble. If he wants to win the championship next year, he'll need to consider his approach or look at how the bad decisions in just a few races has lost Vettel the championship two seasons in a row.
I'm not a Max hater and like his speed but today he could have won the war by avoiding one battle. Either way, the Honda engine looks very promising and I'm expecting epic battles up front next year between Vettel, Hamilton and Verstappen.
