Driven the new GTI not 2 weeks ago and I totally agree with Rolf especially against the wife's X1 which interior by comparison feels way over priced, the question is whether you think the 1er has a better interior to the X1 which personally I don't.
Though with regards to perceived interior quality it's the A3 that's still the one to beat in segment but the gap between Audi and Volkswagen continues to drop.
