Finally, the search is over, a new car is coming =)

If there is no delays then its coming in September.

"There’s subtle bounce from the front end at lower speeds, but the ride is good and the feedback through the steering and chassis is glorious as you wind up the pace".

Subtle bounce from the front end...... Porsche Boxter or the Cayman?

My next car lack brandimage and exclusivity. This car does fullfil what Giannis search in a car.
Also, I think this version only been out on the market for a month or so.

So it's surely a manual and has hydraulic steering.
Probably even a mechanical clutch. That's a car Giannis would be interested in buying.
I highly doubt it's the Fiesta ST as it's on the market for a little longer and would actually be a downgrade from your current car. Giannis is not a big fan of VAG vehicles... so I guess it's not a Seat or a VW.
There's not a single Volvo that weights around 1200kg... hmmm
I'm almost certain it's a hatch but the Clio RS is offered with DCT only so it's not good for Giannis... hmmm
I need more time. Give us another clue, please :)

........I think all the wait and search is worth it and once I get the car, it’s going to satisfy me on so many levels. The reviews been overwhelming positive.

I like cars that’s fun to drive and I’ve finally found a replacement. She isn’t the prettiest girl on the block but she got the moves and ability to dance like ballet dancer. She involves you and she excites you.........

Ford Fiesta ST would be my guess according to the criteria, weight is about right. Very good reviews too.

Not necessarily a downgrade if your key criteria is fun and not image.

Well personally I think the BRZ/GT86 look great! Mind you I am now driving an M135i........

So, you bought a small or mid-size european hatchback that doesn't come from VAG.

Is it a Clio RS?

But it doesn't come with a manual 'box.

It can't be an Astra GTC, because I despise Opel :D

I never knew anyone was paying such attention to by preferences :D :D

You can't find a new car with a mechanical clutch any more ;)

Also, the Fiesta ST is a good contender! Didn't really think of it...

Also, given that Andreas is from Sweden, everyone and his mother drives a Volvo up there, while it's exactly the opposite here. During the 8 years of my S60 ownership, I've only seen two with the same colour as mine :D

Bottom line, Andreas got himself a GT86!

:)

It's my job. I know what customers prefer just by looking in their eyes :D
There are brand new cars with mechanical clutches, mate.
Rate my post informative, now! :D

Here's what I reckon is on the cards as definitely possible.

LOL when speak about Giannis, I know he likes small lightweighters and manual gearbox. Pretty much in line with what I prefer. And yes unfortuanly Clio RS is only offered with DSG, otherwise Its good looking hatchback. Anyway its time to tell but first some various quotes from different Reviews. Just like Clio, my car makes fake noises too :)

Weight 1193 kg (with fuel and no driver)

It has a wonderful fluidity that allows effortlessly fast progress and it feels light and nimble, too

The more you push, the harder you try, the better the XXX becomes. The engine is smooth and gutsy and although it doesn't emit the most blood-curdling of battle cries, the Sound Symposer allows a little fruitiness into the cabin. The wide torque spread melts seamlessly into the top end power peak giving you plenty of poke from 1,500rpm all the way to the rev limiter just north of 6,000rpm.

I've driven these roads in plenty of quick machines over the years, from Caterhams to 911s to the revered sibling, the XXXX. Few, if any, drives top our final blast down the Col de Vence in the XXX. Playful, poised and plenty fast enough, you really feel you can exploit everything the car has. You can wring every last horsepower from the engine and use every last bit of grip. It's that engaging accessibility that defines a really terrific hot hatch; this car makes you feel like a driving superstar.
It'll also be a stonkingly good all-rounder. In fact, I'd go so far as to say, it's one of the most fun, engaging and talented hot hatches money can buy

With sublime handling, perfectly weighted controls, plus a tuneful and punchy engine, it’s a joy to drive every time you get behind the wheel.

The XXX is a car you feel at one with – its steering is sharp and perfectly weighted, and body control is excellent. It’s agile, alive and entertaining on a twisty road, while the manual box is lovely to use. The engine sounds great and the ride isn’t too bad, either.
Peak power is made in “overboost” mode, when the turbo is squeezing in a maximum of 21 psi. To stretch the engine’s durability, xxx programmed the computer to cut pressure after 20 seconds at wide-open throttle, a situation you’re likely to encounter only at Bonneville or the Nürburgring, or when fleeing the cops. But lift just once, and the overboost timer resets.

Ford Fiesta ST. It does looks very good. In fact it is my favorite small hatch. And Ford engines are really good. There are awesome build on Ford Fiesta ST. First the one of Ken Block. Then many other...

I like this one with Volvo B230 making 500 PS.

The wee Ford is a hell of a car and I bet when the son's insurance drops to a reasonable level it will be on his short list.

The wee Ford is quite ugly, overrated, will depreciate like a chest of draws falling off The Shard and Ford's Ecoboost engines are unreliable. The Toyota GT-86 is easily the best car here; go for it!
