Engine and ride quality is the things better with 125i compare to 120i. But it comes with big price and not so good design. BMW isnt unique anymore, the competition easily match bmw these days. New bimmers have grown up and become softer.
I'm going to have more fun with Fiesta ST for half the price, than I would with a 125i. If I ever feel the need to drive a BMW , I'll use my parents cars or go for testdrive like I did with 428i.
Now Martin, are we really going to ruin my Ford thread with an overpriced 125i ;)
 
Well, ok. But, given that this is a forum for German car fans you have to accept that if you make a statement along the lines of that you're buying a Ford because BMW can't make cars that drive as nicely as Fiesta, then you're in for some discussion no? You put it out there...

HoH fault. I was just trying to be nice and answer his questions.
MB fans accuse me of being a bmw fanboy and the rest say I'm BMW hater.. Nice guys dont have it easy ;)
 
No, no... That's not correct to say it's HoH's fault. He merely asked "when did this happen". To which you responded that BMW stopped building cars the way you like it. Which is odd because you have a 120i. Ok, maybe if you had a 130i then possibly I could see why you might feel this way.

Don't get me wrong, I have no issue - in fact I can only applaud - that you're being responsible with your finances but that is wholly different standpoint versus BMW not making products that live up to your standards.

Me driving a 120i has nothing to do with how I feel. I've driven many various bimmers with different engines and I aint feeling them as I use to do. Driving a car is more than just the engine. So I ask you politely, dont talk me like I based my experience based on my 120i. I know a thing or two about cars too.
