F80 Ferrari F80

The Ferrari F80 (Type F250) is a limited production mid-engine, hybrid sports car. Designed and named to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the company, it serves as a successor to the LaFerrari. Production: 2025-2027.
This does not stir my emotions like the previous Ferrari hypercars, especially visually.

The front end is so blocky.. seemingly inspired by the F40? But the F40 had a low-sloping nose, this just looks very brick-like. NOT a fan.

And while I like the headlight piece on the 12C and understand the lineage on the 12C, it's totally out of place here on the F80.

The W1 is like an updated 765LT. It has no advantages over the Ferrari except that it is a bit lighter and more powerful. Since they are both hypercars with over 1000 horsepower, none of that matters. For a million dollar price, there has to be something more special. There is nothing special about the W1. You will understand this better when you read the F80 press release.

Actually, is mainly F40: front fender, back fender, louvered engine cover, "fixed" wing, relatively square headlights, the naca duct look alike that forms in the door/ radiator opening.....
IMO retro done right.

To me, the most important aspect of a hypercar is the shape. Unlike the sf90 that looks heavy at the rear, the F80 is sleek and low. It doesn't have a bad angle.

I like it. Very imposing. Front end is a bit challenging. But love the fighter canopy like green house.

As for the mechanicals, I see it as the AMG one without being dogmatic about using an F1 engine on a road car.

Can't wait for F80 vs W1.

Have you seen this:

Thanks for sharing. Maybe they're working with Divergent for the upper arm.

Watched the Top Gear video and the dampers are still from Multimatic. First time I've seen their dampers not in their signature gold and clue color scheme.

"A bit lighter" 125kg is not just a bit for me, also even a bit wierd to said but the W1 is about 1M cheaper that the Ferrari plus it's a lot more rare.

Anyway, both are sold out and clients will love it.

Been a busy 48 hours for me and I forgot about this reveal. It's always a special occassion when Ferrari debuts a Special (Super?) series car. While I need to read more into the technical details, which I am sure a likely glorious, visually, it doesn't "tickle my pickle" like a LaFer did. I am sure there's the subconscious aspect of the LaFer having a V12 rather than turbo V6, but the design....

The design.

Off the bat, the 12Cilindri/Daytona front does not work here. It'd be nice if it was closer to the 499P to at least connect with LeMans-winning car.

I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I had that initial feeling with 12Cilindri and do very much like it now, but having a V12 really helps with "the feels" too. From what I've gleaned on this forum, I agree that a Lego version of this would be too far off the real thing.

There's more to talk about, but I'll have a better chance perhaps this weekend. There's no doubt this thing is an absolute gonzo monster, but will I have lusty feelings for it? Hmmm....

Who cares about the price. Besides, Ferrari will become more valuable over time.

I liked it from the moment I saw it and I like it more the more I look at it. Yes, there are some elements I dont like, for example the black panel in the front which doesn’t suit it. It is a very imposing and impressing looking car, it looks like a huge Le Mans racer.
