Why is that video more reliable than the first carwow test of the M5? In Portugal it did 3.1 to 60 and 11.1 in 400m. That's a slow M5 compared to the press car previously tested. Even slower than the 300kg heavier M760Li. That's just absurd.

Why ? Cause it’s tested on the same moment and the same conditions. If I test a car in UK 7 degrees outside and compare that time to Spain 23 degrees outside and a shit load of other factors. Do you then understand that a video where the 2 cars are tested head to head is More relevant ?

By your logic they can have an f1 race running 7 days of the week on different tarmac and then decide who won.

Well it's more reliable cuz both cars are tested together on the same field and weather conditions at the same time..if we were to talk about single previous tests,there's pretty much faster times of the E63 too.

So is slower than E63S in this test, similar weight and power, but how about being slower than the M760Li despite weighting 300kg less?
This rivalry is going to be the closest I can think of in many years between these BMW and Mercedes mega saloons. The E63 S will win some more comparison tests as I don't think the M5 is the slayer and benchM5ark like all BMW fans think. When BMW launch the 625PS Competition Pack, Mercedes will probably counter this and launch a 639PS (470kW) version of the E63 for sure using the same spec motor as the AMG GT 63 S 4 door.

What do you want me to say? The AMG obviously won, I don’t know how and why.
These cars are about equally fast, and it’s very likely it will flip opposite in another drag race. Just like how the E will win some reviews and loose some too.
I’ve come to terms with these cars being so close to eachother. MB did a damn fine job with the taxi.

I would say AMG did the damn fine job, since the regular E did not performed as good compared to the regular 5er.
