...or not^^ Absolutely ridiculous.
so looking back at the race
chaotic from the start
Merc were surprisingly well of when their main competition (Charles and Max) couldn't battle with them
Lewis knew Max was attacking from the right and he still turned to hit the apex despite giving room on entry
dick move by Max not letting Checo get those points
sad day for Mclaren fans
Saying that Verstappen is not a team player is an understatement. Another example of the same is Alonso.
Can you name one event with one driver that was a turd , BUT had NO stakes in the game?Another example - Senna. Another. - Schumacher. Another - Alonso, Another - Hamilton (vs both Alonso and Rosberg - don't act like it didn't happen). Another - Vettel. In other words, pretty much every multiple world champion (Except Mika) since the 80s. Doesn't justify what Max did. But it is par for the course.

I read about Senna all over the place , especially his "romance" with Prost. But ALWAYS there was a stake in the middle.
So , please , name one driver from what you named , and one event , when they where a**holes but there was NO stake in the middle.
Ex: Senna vs Prost , 1989 , the stake was Championship.Sorry, I am not sure what you mean by "stake in the middle".
Ah got it. What is your point? That Max is a bigger asshole? Sure. I can see that. And what?Ex: Senna vs Prost , 1989 , the stake was Championship.
Hamilton vs Rosberg , really? They where always in a battle for the 1st place.
2022 : Verst vs Perez , battle for ??
We can agree on that. For sureAh got it. What is your point? That Max is a bigger asshole? Sure. I can see that. And what?
Fact is, they are all assholes by my standard. But I also have 0 WCs.
#Me tooBut , I also have 0 WCs
I see a lot of similar arguments in all sport diciplins; that to be a champ you need to be an asshole or an ego etc. This is pure BS. Just looking at the other champs with «normal» personality proves the contrary. And this is not black or white, you have different grades. The three I mentioned are clearly in the worst class, and you could also put Michael Schumacher in the same group. Hamilton, for example, is always protesting with team decisions but he understand team play, and he is to smart to not obey.Another example - Senna. Another. - Schumacher. Yes, people tend to stereo-type. My point is that world champs are not all the same, even if many of them will have elements of egocentric personality.I'm not sure I'd generalise either way, I do think though, that to make a career in motorsport as a driver means you are more likely to have been moulded into a two faced, tantrum prone, spoiled, self-important, egotistical twat-bag.... and if you happen to become a champion, people are more likely to see that.

Of course there are different grades. And the point is that its not fair to put all the others in same group as the likes of Verstapppen & co.Are there different grades of assholes, sure. But potayto, potahto.
