Do you know of a world champion who has not displayed asshole behaviour at one point or another?

Edit - Thinking about it a bit more, since I started following F1 in late 80s, the only world champion who I can't recall being an asshole at any point is Mika Hakkinen. (and Kimi too though he could be a total jerk on the radio).

And this justifies his behavior ?
He helped him so much to steal the title last year. Time and time again he helped him. And his is already wc this year and was clearly let by from checo understanding that he would get the spot back.. if he knew atleast he could have fought .

Of course not. It was dick move. But just highlighting it is par for the course for a world champion. It is almost like being an asshole is a necessary quality for being a WC. Also why I stopped being a fan/supporter of any driver.

Merc were surprisingly well of when their main competition (Charles and Max) couldn't battle with them
Lewis knew Max was attacking from the right and he still turned to hit the apex despite giving room on entry

The bigger problem here is that Max did NOT obey direct team orders.

This was not a question.This was a order . And he did not want.

And a few minutes earlier , Lewis obeyed direct orders regarding pit stop , even if he did not want to change tyres .
