You all know what it, the season will commence in a matter of days and we are all anxious like crazy. To keeps ourselves calm we should thrown down some theories and predictions of ourselves in this thread.

-Who do you think will win the Title?
-Which team will win the championship?
-Will Renault get their act together and catch up with the top teams?
-What will Alonso do if it doesn't work out at Renault this year?
-Will BMW fulfill they objective of winning a GP?
-Nakajima has been blistering fast as testing has been the 5th fastest driving during pre-season. But will he be able to maintain the pace during an entire race, will he be the black horse this year??
-Will Barchello finally retire!!!

1/ Kimi or Lewis. Depends on the car.
2/ Ferrari.
3/ No Way.
4/ Will stay or leave for BMW. Depends on Renault and BMW paces.
5/ Yes
6/ Nakajima is fast but will lack maturity, 2008 will polish him.
7/ Hope so and think so.

I'd go for a 1 - 2 ferrari win. I will also say that I will not be surprised by BMW in this race, for better or for worse.

Yeah Nakajima has to go through the learning process. Unlike Hamilton, Glock, Piquet and Rosberg he hasn't properly graduated from GP2. In other words he lacks the experience of competing in a cut throat environment and handling pressure.

But it does look quite promising for Williams, they have a very good car this year and should be able to rival BMW which is great because we've been missing some action in the chasers category.

I'll be highly impressed if BMW manages to win a GP. That's one very big task and unfortunately their car simply isn't fast enough. Winning a GP means beating Massa, Kimi, Hamilton and Heikki. Quite a big task if you ask me. BMW is a very good team though and the drivers are exceptionally disciplined, it's no up to the engineers and mechanics to push boundaries if they want the team to advance.

Hammy
Mclaren or Force India
Hope not
Go to Nascar
Maybe
No
Yes

-Kimi
-Ferrari
-Renault will end 4-th
-Alonso will stay one more year
-Yes
-He won’t be in first 10
-Yes and I whish so.

I'm putting my money on that Hamilton will win. He simply has too, he was so close last year and this years car is just as fast. Although Ferrari is psychologically in a better shape than Mclaren, Hamilton has one advantage over Kimi and that is qualifying speed.

Hamilton might mature with time but won't be getting any much better than what he is now. If he doesn't win this year we will become the new Jenson button.

Okay Luw, I cheated and waited til qualifying, but I have already mentioned a few weeks said that I don't think Ferrari is nearly as fast as people think.

My predictions:
Hamilton WDC - disputed title, FIA inquiry, big fuss over ECU, other teams question if Mclaren car still contains stolen ideas, another high-profile showdown by summer
Ferrari WCC - see above
Renault - maybe a lucky win later in the year, but not a top team
Alonso - wait one more year and then jump to Ferrari, I think he has that opt-out clause
BMW - likely one lucky win, but I question their race pace and tyre degradation
Nakajima - Rosberg will show him who's boss, I think Nakajima is overrated vastly
Barrichello - Not if Honda can improve, unless he is shown the door

1) Hammy WDC (The Reds will bitch about something like always when things don't go their way)
2) Sadly Ferrari WCC
3) Renault will be top of midfield (like BMW last year) behind BMW (bottom of topfield)
4) I don't care
5) BMW will win a couple
6) Nakajima who?
7) Oh god I hope so!

But this year it is easier for all the other teams to do it to Mclaren as well. Of course, I think Ferrari will lead the chorus of jeers, perhaps with Renault and Alonso. If you were a team boss Siko, even you would be tempted to question their legitimacy after '07. The FIA has probably aided the other teams' argument.

Seems like your prediction was pretty much on the point. :usa7uh:
