7 Series (F01) F01/02 760i/Li revelead

The BMW F01 is the fifth-generation 7 Series, produced from 2008 to 2015. The model range consisted of standard length and long wheelbase ("Li" models) sedans. Model codes: F01 (short-wheelbase), F02 (long-wheelbase), F03 (high-security), and F04 (ActiveHybrid). Production: 2008–2015.
except for the headlamps, the front looks terrible. Are BMW going to offer an ///M pack or aero pack? Any idea when?

C'mon. Easy, dude. :D

This year V12, Hybrid & xDrive models are coming. Supposedly also the "bigger" diesel (or perhaps they'll wait till next year to debut it in F10 5er ...).

So, beside potential "bigger diesel" - I guess - M / Aero exterior kit is left for introduction sometimes in 2010.

Don't mean to interrupt but that hood is closer properly, look at all the other lines around the panels.

You may be right. The other panels look flush. I was just thinking the catch on the right (as we look at it) isn't properly closed. If that is genuinely closed then it's shocking build quality on that particular vehicle.

Yeah, bad quality for the most high end BMW ever made and shown for the first time ever??? I think not! It's just the angle, lighting and a hood not properly closed.

That 5er GT look sexy from that angle. Exotic lines. Can't wait to see in in real!

Oh take your rose tinted glasses off. I've seen some shocking panel gaps on some BMW's, not to mention appalling paint finishes and orange peel (including my own pride and joy) so don't kid yourself that BMW have perfect build quality, high end car AND/OR show car.

Like I said in the first place, it looks like the bonnet isn't closed properly.

It is all to do with the angle that the hood and the lower bumper meet on the front end. The gap is required so that the hood can be opened at the angle the front end is raked to. It will of course look more predominant from an angle directly above. IRL from the side and from front on the bonnet looks flush and the gap is negligible.

Guys, c'mon ... this is 760(L)i thread.

Don't hijack it with all the 5er GT stuff.

Can somebody move all those 5er GT post ina 5er GT specific thread, please.

:t-cheers:

Here is the other V12 BMW 760Li that was on show in Shanghai.
This one was wheeled out after the Press Conference had completed.
Beautifully respondant in Sophisto Grey with Option 21" Wheels.
Frankfurt in September will show the BMW 760Li Individual , along with the BMW 5er Gran Turismo Individual and the BMW Z4 Roadster 3.5sDrive Individual.

I say it again. BMW does the best wheels

WIthout a shadow of a doubt! They really know how to create wheel designs that bring out the most in the car and its overall design.

The extended length of the 760Li really works well with the F01, more so than it did with the E65...and in white this car is just perfect!

Here's a capture of my current desktop of the 760Li. Love it!
